"Anasazi Traveller"
Dylan Poblano is a uniquely expressive artist who studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan. He descends from Zuni Pueblo carving great Leo Poblano. "Anasazi Traveller" is a dynamic hand-fabricated sterling silver sculpture that's only 2 3/4" tall, 7/8" wide and 7/8" deep but holds so much meaning. The Anasazi were ancient ancestral Puebloans whose descendants are Pueblo and Hopi Peoples. Wearing a traditional headdress called a tablita, adorned with rays of intersecting lines and presented on a star-shaped base, perhaps "Anasazi Traveller" represents the many pathways of innate knowledge Indigenous ones have and want to share. Signed by the artist.
