Several of Zuni Pueblo artist Rodney Laiwakete's brothers are fetish carvers. We're happy to share Rodney's latest creation made from an amazing banded onyx. It is a Bear that measures about 2 1/2" long, 1/2" wide and 1 1/2" tall. A turquoise heartline which represents the breath path as well as turquoise eyes are inlaid. We love the special characteristics of this stone which add a uniqueness to this bear's head region.
