Pansy Natachu's beauteous lapis Butterfly is permanently resting on a flower carved of marble, about 2 1/4" tall, 1 1/2" wide and 1 3/4" deep. The flower has incised circular designs on each petal. This winged insect has expressive turquoise inlaid eyes. Pansy's sgraffito work on this insect's wings is lovely. A Butterfly's medicine shows us the significance of each stage of transformation, as this insect has to go through these stages in order to survive and thrive.
