A commanding and brilliant Bear with turquoise eyes, is carved from electrifying chrysocolla by Bernard Laiwakete. He comes from a great line of Zuni carvers: the Mahooty, Lasiloo and Laiwakete families. His son is carver Kenric Laiwakete and several of his brothers carve as well. A gorgeous and double heartline of red coral is inlaid along with sky blue turquoise eyes. This piece measures about 5" long, 3/4" wide and 1 3/4" tall.
