Pueblo storytellers are usually clay figurines of an elder such as a Mother or Grandmother surrounded by children. They represent an exchange of traditional knowledge, songs and stories of the old ways. Long time potter Annette Romero's unique storyteller pottery is skillfully hand-built from natural clay and painted with rich pigments. A trio of young ones relax on a drum waiting for the doings to begin. Annette thoughtfully included a little attached clay mallet or drumstick plus handles to the drum storyteller pottery that's about 4 1/8" long, 3 3/4" wide and 3 3/4" tall in its entirety.
