Stevan Natachu's fantastic bird, perhaps a parrot bringing monsoon clouds from the rain forest, is carved of soft pink dolomite with dendritic inclusions. The wonderful overlay tail is pieced together with pipestone, jet, turquoise and mother-of-pearl shell. This feathered friend has nicely incised wing detail with eyes and beak of turquoise. The high flier has a wingspan of about 3" long and measures about 2 1/4" from tip to tail and is about 3/8" thick.
