Indigenous cultures have always appreciated crow's wisdom weaving stories about them into ancient worldview. Some believed crows could communicate with humans as bringers of light and good fortune. Not only are they wise but bright crows are effective scavengers working as Mother Earth's housekeepers. Melvin Sandoval's crow (or Raven) is sculpted from jet and presented on an arrow point base from found stone. Dimensions in their entirety are about 1 3/4" long, 7/8" wide and 1 1/2" tall.
