A beautiful dromedary camel or Arabian camel is a camel with one hump on its back. The humps are used to store fat that converts to energy. Bryston Bowannie's approximately 3" long, 3/4" wide and roughly 2 1/2" tall turquoise-eyed camel has been carved from local Nutria rock, which is a wonderful stone from the Nutria area of the Zuni Pueblo reservation. It resembles a piece of delicious chocolate. Nutria rock can be either travertine, agate or jasper.
