A portion of lightly aromatic cedarwood, from the conifer family, has been carved into a wonderful Turtle (or tortoise) with an etched carapace and turquoise inlaid eyes. Justin Red Elk created this approximate 1 3/4" long, 1 1/2" wide and 5/8" tall creature that has a rain association in Zuni Pueblo.
