Badgers live in New Mexico's majestic mountain meadows, vast grasslands and broad arid deserts. They are regarded as a healing creature by the A:Shiwi (Zuni) because they help the medicine men dig roots. We love carver Vince Chavez's choice of natural materials as they originate from the ancestral lands in Zuni. Smoothly sculpted from Zuni stone, this down to earth badger is about 2 7/8" long, 1 1/4" wide and 5/8" tall. Steadfast eyes are from sky blue turquoise.
