A single baby hedgehog is adorably called a hoglet. Mother hedgehogs are good parents. She'll take the little hoglets on foraging trips showing them how to find food. Hedgehogs are small mammals with cone-shaped faces, short legs and bodies that are covered with porcupine-like quills. Although similar in appearance, porcupines and hedgehogs are not closely related. Cameron Kalestewa's azurite-eyed hedgehog is carved from local Zuni travertine with an amazing encrustation of tiny crystals or druse. About 2 5/8" long, 1 3/8" wide and 7/8" tall.
