Self-taught carver Salvador Romero has been at it for over 30 years now. He allows the found stone's natural characteristics guide the artistic process. He turns static stone into wonderful creatures such as this approximately 5 1/8" long, 1 7/8" wide and 5/8" tall undulating Snake whose presence is a sign of a healthy habitat.
