Perched deep within the Zuni woods, an endearing Owl reigns in the moonlit realm. It is sculpted from burnished antler with alert eyes from turquoise and lovely facial disc feathers, both accented with black ink. An adorable hooked beak is from iridescent gold lip shell. This charming bird is by Craig Haloo who is from the late Jacob Haloo family of noted Zuni carvers and jewelers. Jacob's brother was George Cheechee Haloo whose descendants like Troy and Gabriel Sice also wonderful animal carvers. Craig has been making owls for a long time, they have great raptor essence and belong in any well-rounded collection. About 3 1/4" tall, 1 1/4" wide and 1 1/8" deep.
