In 1985 Zuni artists Georgette Quam Lunasee and Reynold Lunasee started carving together. Her first carving was a Frog while his was a Bear. Over forty years later, they're still creating wonderful animal carvings together. Georgette sculpts the frogs and does the inlay work while Reynold does the sanding and buffing. They've collaborated in the creation of an iridescent amphibian from lovely pink mussel shell adorned with sky-blue turquoise inlays. Eyes from turquoise are like deep, beautiful pools. Approximately 2 3/4" long, 2 7/8" wide and 3/4" tall.
