Seven wonderful Turtles are handmade from sterling silver, speckled cowry shell, cheerful Kingman turquoise and jet by Zuni jeweler Jaylene Bellson. Their gorgeous carapaces are created in the channel inlay technique with silver channels hosting hand-cut shell pieces. Little feet are individually stamped. In the wild turtles move slowly but reach a destination successfully. They teach us to slow down and enjoy the road ahead. The sterling silver double strand necklace is about 32" long, while the center turtle is about 1 5/8" long, 1" wide and 3/8" deep. The smaller side reptile's average 1 3/8" long, 7/8" wide and 1/4" deep. Signed by the artist.
