"Land of The Shalako - Walk With Me - Winter Solstice" is an original acrylic painting from Anthony Gchachu's Land Of The Shalako series. The stretched canvas on wood frame, which measures a charming 7" tall and 5" wide depicts a blessed winter in which Shalako and a fawn (Deer) companion make their way to Zuni. An important religious katsina ceremony takes place once a year at Zuni Pueblo in which Shalako makes an appearance. A beloved messenger from the Rain Gods, Shalako stands ten feet tall.
