Rooted in Mother Earth, Badgers are keepers of healing herbs and rhizomes for Zuni Medicine Men. Carved from burnished antler, Ray Tsalate's precious badger can be positioned upright or on its belly. Incising and serpentine paste adorn a furry coat. Eyes from sky blue turquoise inlays take in the healing light, while a precious nose is from pen shell. Fabulous paw pads are from pen shell inlays accented with jet digger claws. Standing measurements of this sweet treasure are about 1 3/4" tall, 1" wide and 5/8" deep.
