Derrick Edaakie's striking sterling silver cardinal pendant uses a technique called overlay inlay where two pieces of silver are laid over each other to create a depression in which stones and shell can be inlaid. For this lovely pin/pendant, a spirited cardinal was created using coral, black lip shell, abalone and jet, including abalone shell for the tree leaves. The versatile and affordable pin/pendant measures about 1" long by 1" wide and is signed by the artist. The nice silver snake chain is not included but is available and sold separately here.
