Rosarita Gold Slag Ram
During the 1960's to the 70's, Alaskan beach sand was smelted for its gold content. In the process, a slag by-product displaying deliciously deep red colors was named Rosarita. Since then, improvements in the gold refining industry means Rosarita gold slag is no longer produced. So Christopher Sandoval's stunning Rosarita gold infused glass ram is a special treat. It has a lively spirit with powerful curved horns and little etched ears. Determined eyes are from turquoise inlays. About 2" long, 1" wide and 2 1/4" tall.
