This elegant bird has been smoothly carved out of salt river serpentine by Jovanna Poblano. Its eyes are inlaid with turquoise beads, it rests on a lime stone point base that is embellished with ground turquoise stones and a superb conch shell. It carries a magnificent offering bundle, topped by a green turquoise bird that has been inlaid with turquoise and jet. The offering bundle is bound by a colorful assortment of heishi, purple spiny oyster, sugilite, red coral and turquoise beads. This beautiful work of art is signed by the artist and is about 5" long and 2 3/4" tall.
