A smooth and sleek Frog, with a high glossy polish, sits cool in your hand on a hot and dry summer day. Carved from a raspberry alabaster, the water bearer helps to focus thoughts as we picture towering grey, moisture heavy, clouds of the monsoon as they sweep across the valley showering blessings across the parched land. The frog, carved by Alan Lewis, measures about 3 3/8" tall, 2 3/8" wide by 1 3/4" tall. Typically, Alan's main carving material is cottonwood but occasionally he is inspired to work with stone resulting in lovely pieces, like this frog.
