Hornets are the top predators of other insects, guarding crops from arthropods that damage them. They are great pollinators too. Brandon Phillips' awesome hornet is composed from carved Picasso marble and jet, while fast wings are from gold lip shell. Eyes are from turquoise inlays. A little stinger is from gold lip shell. About 2 5/8" long, 1 1/4" wide and 1 1/4" tall.
