Wave or Rolling Hills dolomite is mined in Chihuahua, Mexico. Prized for swirling bands of rich red, pink and tan hues, this well-liked variety of dolomite has been carved into a standing Bear by Zuni elder Andrew Quam who started carving at 11 years of age. Steadfast eyes are from turquoise inlays and clawed paws are accented with jet paste. About 3" tall, 1 1/4" wide and 1" deep.
