Bison or buffalo are held in high esteem by many Indigenous cultures because they have always given abundantly of themselves. Kenric Laiwakete's powerful Bison is sculpted from magnesite that reminds us of a winter's landscape with puffs of snow. Nice eyes and an alternating heartline or breath path are from sky blue turquoise inlays. The head and mane have incising lines that represent a cape or shaggy coat. About 2 3/4" long, 5/8" wide and 1 7/8" tall.
